"We wanted to create something tangible that would help bridge the divide between civilians and those who have served, so we embarked on a mission to collect these raw emotional pages," said Sarah Moe, project initiator. "We knew that we had something incredibly special, something that would touch hearts and foster a collective sense of loss and memory."

Since then, the project has gained momentum, with contributions pouring in from all over the city. Family members, friends, and fellow veterans have all been inspired to leave their own words of remembrance, adding their own voice to this ever-growing tribute.
