DOYLESTOWN SUMMER FESTIVAL: A Weekend of Fun, Food, and Community Spirit

Doylestown's annual Summer Festival has become a beloved tradition, drawing thousands of visitors to the charming downtown area over the course of three sunny days. Organized by the Doylestown Chamber of Commerce, the event celebrates the rich history, culture, and sense of community that defines this picturesque Bucks County borough.

From live music performances to mouth-watering food vendors, kid-friendly activities, and local artisans showcasing their wares, this year's Summer Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. One of the main attractions of the Summer Festival is the diverse range of food options available. Visitors can sample everything from classic burgers and hot dogs to gourmet grilled cheese, tacos, and ice cream sandwiches. We caught up with Bobbie Teitel of Bella's Ice Cream, who has been a festival staple for over a decade.

"We love being part of the Summer Festival," says Teitel. "It's an amazing opportunity to connect with the community and showcase our unique flavors and ingredients. Our fans have come to expect a little taste of heaven in a cup, and we always aim to deliver."

Foodies can also look forward to exploring the various culinary hotspots in downtown Doylestown throughout the year. One such gem is Leg Up Restaurant, which has garnered rave reviews for its upscale yet approachable American cuisine.

Local Flavors and Craft Beers Galore

Our very own brewery also contribute in the festival, they offer tasty and brewed craft.

Grab a glass and take in the lively atmosphere, with over a dozen beer varieties to choose from.

Other highlights of the festival include access to an artisan market showcasing handmade crafts, artwork, and jewelry by local vendors; live music performances on two stages, catering to different tastes and ages; and plenty of entertainment for kids, from face painting to carnival rides and a monster bounce house.
